I have lots of experience working with children: -I have volunteered at the La Habra Public Library during the summer, helping with the Summer Reading Program -I have tutored elementary age children at the La Habra Library as well as the Rowland Heights library, assisting in English and Grammar as well as Math, Health, and Social Studies -I have tutored a high school student in AP Biology for his second semester, reviewing the chapters previously covered in the first semester, and introducing new topics in the second semester -I have worked in children's ministry at my church for 10+ years -I have worked with children at church as the children's worship leader for 3rd grade and under. I have been in this position for 2 years -I have worked Vacation Bible School during the summer, which includes arts and crafts, games, skits, Bible lessons, and music, for kids ages 3 years old through 6th grade -I have assisted high school aged students in writing and peer editing -I have been a Teacher Assistant for Biology students for 2 years I would like to be a tutor because I greatly enjoy working with children and helping them to achieve academic excellence
